Antique Carl Thieme Dresden Potschappel Germany Bird Figurine Porcelain 1902

Beautiful Antique 1902 Carl Thieme Dresden Bird Porcelain Figurine. This is a rare and hard to find Dresden bird piece! There are not many left in circulation.

Made in a porcelain factory in Potschappel, Germany. Dresden pieces were (and still are) highly sought after, and owning them showed how successful you were. This early 20th century figural is stunning with its hand painted details. Beautiful colors throughout the bird and the branch on which it is perched. I'm not exactly sure what kind of bird it is, but it kind of resembles a red finch or pine grosbeak.

It's hard to say, as I could not find this exact bird from Dresden in any of my research. It's definitely a hard to find piece. This is in Mint Condition! No chips, cracks, holes, etc. Please see all the photos for details. Approximate Measurements: 3"H x 5"L. Will be packaged very well.
