Antique Dresden Rare Pair Small Sheep Signed Carl Thieme Potschappel Perfect

It is not often that you find the Carl Thieme animal figurines which were made in Dresden at the Potschappel factory. Some of them such as this pair were made in the English Staffordshire manner -except they were made in porcelain not pottery. This pair has graced a miniatures table most of their lives, they are therefore in perfect condition. I did give them a bath to ensure that their woolly coats (reallistically made from finely chopped porcelain chips) were clean.

They are signed with the Carl Thieme signature and the work Dresden both in underglaze blue. They are both in absolutely perfect condition. SIZE: They are each 2 1/4" tall, 2" long and1 1/2 wide at the base.
