Antique Meissen Dresden Porcelain Cherub & Cockerel Figure Clock Beautiful

Beautiful cherub and cockerel decorated clock and clock case. Made by Meissen porcelain from Germany. Produced in the 19th Century. Marked with the maker's cobalt blue'crossed swords.

The cockerel has been detached across the legs and tail and repaired with glue and there are two small chips to the enamel rims of the keyholes of the clock face. Otherwise, the figure is in good condition, with no other chips, cracks or. The clock has not been tested and will require a service/repair before use. It measures approximately 11 ½" in height by 9¾" in length and 5¼ in width.
