Set of 8 Antique Dresden Porcelain Muller Volkstedt Figurines of Ladies in Lace Dresses, Gentleman with Lace Jabot Collars, Gentlemen Piano Player and Lady Singer. All Marked on the bottom. Measures approximately 3 1/2" to 4" high. Condition: there are a small lace breakage on some of the "dresses".
But it doesn't destruct from the beauty of this gorgeous salon scene of 3 couples enjoying singer and music. Otherwise They are in really great shape with all fingers intact and overall really clean beautiful pieces. Anton Muller was working in the porcelain industry in Volkstedt in the late 19th century. He became highly regarded and in 1907 with Otto Hammer established in Volkstedt Porzellanmanufaktur Anton Müller.Anton Müller died in 1937. He was succeeded by his son Herman in the family business. Herman died during World War II and the factory was in 1945 demolished by allied bombing.
